Commercial Pilot Training

A Commercial Pilots Certificate will be required to receive payment for flying. You will finally be able to make money with this certificate and begin your career as a pilot. All of your hard work will finally pay off.

Even if your career goals do not involve aviation, a commercial pilot’s license may still benefit you in your aviation journey. If you own an aircraft and fly for fun, chances are you will be building the time anyway. Why not put it to good use? A commercial certificate will lower your insurance premiums and improve your skills as a pilot. Ultimately, making you a safer pilot in the long run. After all, a good pilot is always learning.

Our Commercial Pilot Program

Our commercial pilot program is engineered to prepare you for the challenges you will face in the real world of commercial aviation. We will make you a competent, highly qualified aviator. We combine our online training course with in-person instruction to provide the highest quality flight training possible. We do this by utilizing modern aircraft, professional instruction, and exceptional online training. Our fleet of aircraft is well maintained and fitted with some of the most advanced avionics available. For example, our DA-40 is fitted with a G1000 that allows students to become experts when working with a glass cockpit. You will receive top-notch instruction from our highly-qualified flight instructors. They will help guide you on your journey to becoming a professional aviator. You will develop your stick and rudder skills, learning how to smoothly and precisely control the aircraft as you fly through the commercial maneuvers. We also incorporate simulator use in the program. The sim offers us the ability to emulate real-life emergencies that we cannot attempt in the airplane. These sim sessions give you the experience and confidence to properly handle any situation that comes your way. Making use of the sims also allows us to cut down on training costs.

We offer part 141 and 61 training for our commercial pilot program. We recommend that CCBC students enroll in the 141 commercial programs so they can qualify for RATP minimums. Hobbyists and Aircraft owners could benefit from either training program. We would be more than happy to discuss the benefits of both programs and help you decide which one is best for you.

On average, we see our commercial students pass their check ride between 120-125 hours. The FAA minimum is 120 hours.
